Some people are seeking better career opportunities, safer working conditions, or greater benefits.

Others are increasing their earnings by working multiple jobs at once.

Still others are leaving paid work to care for family.

Career changes are becoming more frequent. The need to reskill is becoming normalized.

Many people are challenging the standard five-day, 40-hour workweek established in the 20th century.

How might changes to labour conditions shift how and where people spend their time outside of paid employment?

What models of support might emerge in the future for new and diverse models of labour?
