Rhiannen Putt

Rhiannen is a Senior Policy Researcher on Horizons’ foresight projects, bringing more than 10 years of experience in research and analysis for community-based development initiatives to the role.  She has worked in non-government organizations and municipal, provincial and federal government, most recently at the Rural and Co-operatives Secretariat at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Rhiannen holds a MSc in International Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph and a BA in political science, anthropology and geography from the University of Lethbridge. Her work and interests have taken her around the world from South and Central America to India and South-East Asia.  Rhiannen is optimistic that Horizons will stamp out her Luddite tendencies, bringing her fully into the 21st Century – and beyond.
