John Giraldez

John joined the Government of Canada in 1996 with the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and worked at the Canada School of Public Service, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS), Privy Council Office (PCO) and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). At TBS Regulatory Affairs Sector and PCO Regulatory Affairs, he led the development of several major regulatory initiatives, guides and policies. In addition, he was part of the Red Tape Reduction Commission Secretariat at TBS. Before joining the Government of Canada, he was a Research Associate at the University of Guelph and a Management Consultant with Deloitte & Touche. John obtained his MSc from the University of Guelph and his BSc from McGill University in economics.
