Canada 2030 – Emerging Issues
Have you ever thought about what the world might look like in 15 years? Specifically, what will Canada look like in 2030? Horizons is exploring plausible futures for Canada over the next 10 to 15 years in the areas of governance, sustainability, infrastructure, and the digital economy (coming soon).
Are you interested in foresight? Do you want to learn how to incorporate it into your projects and meetings? Horizons has produced a foresight training manual to help you do just that! It is made up of 6 modules, full of helpful facilitator guides, and participant tools. We are continuing to add to it into the New Year. So keep checking back to see what is new!
As a key component of the Horizons Foresight Method, we are continuously conducting environmental scanning to identify “weak signals” of possible change that have the potential to disrupt our current systems. The Weak Signal gallery on our web site is an evergreen inventory of weak signals across a broad range of domains (social, technology, economy, environment, governance and security). Check out a domain that interests you!
Behavioural Insight Briefs
Are you interested in the theory of nudge and the psychology behind decision-making? Horizons is preparing to release a series of briefs on behavioural insights. Check back in early 2017!
